FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
These answers are intentionally concise and should be reviewed whenever availability, fees, insurance, services, or age range changes.
Are you accepting new clients?
Availability can change. Please request a consultation or call the practice to confirm current openings and waitlist status.
What ages do you see?
The minimum age is still being verified for launch copy. Teen and preteen counseling is included only after Kim confirms the current age range and parent involvement process.
Do I need to be Christian?
Faith integration is presented as client-directed and provisional pending approval. Clients should be able to discuss whether faith should be part of counseling.
Do you see couples or families?
This site currently describes individual counseling. Couples, family, and group services need direct confirmation before they are promoted.
How does the free consultation work?
The consultation is a brief, no-cost conversation intended to discuss fit, logistics, and next steps. Do not use the website for emergencies or detailed clinical information.
Do you accept my insurance?
Insurance details require current verification. Coverage depends on your plan, network, benefits, and any booking-platform requirements.
What should I expect during the first session?
Your first session typically focuses on goals, relevant background, safety boundaries, and a collaborative plan for counseling.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. Licensed professional counselors do not prescribe medication. A medical provider or psychiatric prescriber can discuss medication questions.
How does telehealth work?
You must be in an eligible jurisdiction at session time, have a private space, and use the approved video platform. Emergency location is normally confirmed for safety.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call 911 for immediate danger. Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This website and consultation form are not monitored for emergencies.
